Frank And Albert

By Jimmy Shoals · The Saltwater Sessions: Terror In The Keys

Two brothers walk into a tiki bar… One brought a theory, the other brought the scars. The bartender said, "Boys, you're a long way from home," They just smiled and said, "We call this place the great unknown." Albert's scribblin' formulas down in the sand, Talkin' 'bout time and the master plan. Frank's got coconuts wired to a kite, Tryin' to light the torches with tropical fright. Rum's flowin' faster than the speed of light, One's got equations, the other's a frightful sight. Frank and Albert in the Keys tonight, (Frank and Albert!) One's chasing thunder, one's chasing light. Palm trees swayin', sparks in the air, Science and madness everywhere. When the Einstein brothers get together, It's a Halloween party under spooky weather. Frank built a blender that glows in the dark, Turned the bar sign into a lightning spark. Albert's laughin', says, "Brother, you're insane," Frank says, "Call it genius with an island brain." Now coconuts glow, and the beach lights hum, While Albert's teaching physics with a bottle of rum. It's all relative — that's what they say, 'Cause midnight turns to dawn in a crazy way. Frank shouts, "Charge it up!" as the sky turns blue, Albert grins, "E equals MC rum and you." The whole damn bar lit up like the sun, Two brothers of brilliance — and a bit undone. Rum meets reason, the crowd's in awe, At Frank and Albert's tropical law. Frank and Albert in the Keys tonight, (Frank and Albert!) One's chasing thunder, one's chasing light. Palm trees swayin', sparks in the air, Science and madness everywhere. When the Einstein brothers get together, It's a Halloween party under spooky weather. When the storm died down and the night grew still, They raised a glass on that moonlit hill. Albert said, "Frank, maybe I see —" "— Brother, the universe ain't got nothin' on me."
