On Portugal’s coast, where the waves run high,
Santa’s swapped his sleigh for the open sky.
In bright red trunks, he takes a ride,
Chasing thrills on the ocean’s tide.
With cliffs behind and waves so wide,
He’s spreading cheer on this seaside ride.
Ho, ho, ho the water’s pounding strong,
Salt and spray, I’m where I belong.
Twist and spin as the limestone looms,
Piri piri spice drifts through the blooms.
A wave so tall, it lifts me high,
Touching clouds in the open sky.
One more roll, this wave’s a keeper,
Then it’s back north to the snow that’s deeper.
Santa’s surfing, a jolly sight,
Rolling waves in the fading light.
But clock hands turn, stars draw near,
Will he make it back this year?
Rudolph’s pacing by the shore,
Time’s ticking—Santa, surf no more!
A dolphin leaps, we share a cheer,
Singing carols as I steer.
“Just one last ride!” I call in glee,
But Rudolph’s waiting, looking for me.
Pastel de nata fills the air,
But night is coming, time to beware.
A seagull swoops, joins in the fun,
While shadows stretch with the setting sun.
Santa’s surfing, a jolly sight,
Rolling waves in the fading light.
But clock hands turn, stars draw near,
Will he make it back this year?
Rudolph’s pacing by the shore,
Time’s ticking—Santa, surf no more!
Then Rudolph shouts with a stomp and snort,
“Santa, time’s up—let’s get to port!”
Santa grins, drops his board,
Hurries to shore, his work restored.
Sand beneath, a quick goodbye,
Rudolph’s ready; we fly sky-high.
Up we soar, stars align,
Racing north, gifts to assign.
Santa’s surfing, a jolly sight,
Rolling waves in the fading light.
But clock hands turn, stars draw near,
Will he make it back this year?
Rudolph’s pacing by the shore,
Time’s ticking—Santa, surf no more!
If you hear the waves roar near,
Know that Santa surfed right here.
With Rudolph guiding, he’ll beat the chime,
Bringing joy, just in time.
