Phone's dead, don't know how I made it back to shore
Found a flip-flop on the steps I've never seen before

But I wouldn't miss it
Nobody asked for bacon at four a.m. but here it came
Can't tell you who made that call but I'm grateful all the same
Man in the corner chair ain't moved since I don't know when
Somebody checked the cooler twice — they're gonna check again
